Family Mini Sessions!
One of the best things you can do for yourself and your family is to take a little time and document this moment in your families history. It doesn't take long, but the moment and the memories will last forever!
These mini photo sessions give you the opportunity to capture your family where they are right now for a fraction of the price of the full family sessions!
These sessions are right for:
* Spouses/Partners and their children and/or their fur babies
* Spouses/Partners without children or pets but want to capture this time together
* Photos of just your kids (if you are a bit camera shy yourself) but I would recommend you being in the photos as well!
* Photos of just your pets (See above)
* Photos of grandparents
What these sessions are NOT for:
These are not family reunion sessions with multiple families for one 25 minute session
Multiple family units would need to purchase individual blocks for their specific group. Thank you for understanding!
These are discounted shoots and I will have to be very strict on the schedule as there is only a 5 minute buffer between each session. Your session is 25 minutes from the beginning of your scheduled time. Please be on time. I can NOT go longer if you are late as it will affect every other appointment following your shoot. Each session will end at the 25 minute mark so the next family can be ready to begin right on their scheduled time. Thank you for understanding and helping make each session go quickly and smoothly for everyone involved!
REFUND POLICY
There are NO refunds if you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment.
There are NO refunds if you are late and don't get the full allotment of time for your session.
There are no refunds for these sessions unless the shoot is cancelled by the photographer with no option to reschedule.
INCLIMATE WEATHER
If the weather on the day of the shoot turns for the worst (i.e. rain, thunderstorms, unmanageable wind, etc.) then the shoot will be rescheduled for another day that week if possible. If weather is bad all week, then the shoot will be rescheduled for the next available day that the weather permits. All efforts will be made to reschedule as soon as possible. Under these circumstances, I will try my best to be flexible if the reschedule day doesn't work for you, I will include you on a separate make up day that is hopefully more suitable.
I do not consider cloudy skies to be inclimate weather. I will shoot in sunny or cloudy weather.
PAYMENT
These shoots must be paid for in full prior to the day of the shoot. You will be able to pay for your session on the scheduling page below. As already stated, there are no refunds for the shoots unless it is cancelled by the photographer and no reschedule date is offered. Because these are discounted sessions and your time slot will be reserved solely for you, it prevents others from booking that time slot. Please don't book a session unless you are committed to being at the shoot.
WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH YOUR SESSION?
You will get a 25 minute shoot that will result in a group of beautiful photos that you will get to select your favorite 10 from the session. These photos will be color corrected and delivered to you via a download option in a gallery on my website. These photos will not have additional retouching besides the standard color correction. However, during your meeting to choose your favorite photos, you will have the option to purchase wall art if you desire. If any of your photos are used for wall art purchases, each photo used in your wall art, will be fully retouched to correct any skin blemishes or any other things you would like to have retouched before ordering the wall art for your home.
* Wall art purchases are NOT required to participate in these shoots. They are optional, as are any further purchases beyond the fee you pay for the photo session. Any questions? Just let me know!
WHEN WILL YOU GET TO PICK YOUR PHOTOS?
Unless my schedule doesn't permit it that week, I will try to have each family over within 3-4 days of the shoot to go through your photos. These meetings are typically 30-60 minutes.
WHY ARE THE PRICES DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT TIMES?
Great question! The 1-2 hours after sunrise and 1-2 hours before sunset are considered the "Golden Hour" and often produce some of the most beautiful light of the day. Not only that, but the temperatures are often more comfortable than the mid day heat. Those time slots are premium slots, but there's only so many people that can get those times. In fairness to people who book in the less desirable parts of the day, there is a heavier discount on the middle of the day time slots to allow everyone to still get photos throughout the day, but to offer a price break for going when the lighting isn't as nice as "Golden Hour". Does this mean non-Golden hour photos will be bad? Not at all. I still use professional lighting on all of my shoots and will capture beautiful photos of you. The lighting just creates a different mood at those times of days and middle of the day photos don't generally have that same look.
