One of the most common questions I get once couple's have booked their package is, "What time should I start my photos?". That is a great question and the answer will vary depending on specifics of YOUR day. However, despite different details, most weddings have a similar flow to the day and shouldn't fluctuate too much from these approximate timelines. Take a look at the different timelines based off of your number of scheduled hours and adjust the schedule for your specific start time.
Also, please remember - if after looking at these timelines, you feel you need additional coverage, you can add as much extra time as is necessary. You can purchase extra hours at a rate of $200 per hour plus tax.
All weddings will assume a 45 minute ceremony with a start time of 4:00 PM and assume a first look session with the groom.
All of these schedules have areas throughout the day that can be longer or shorter as your specific day requires. We have shot very quick wedding ceremonies (10-20 minutes), and very long ones as well (1-2 hours). Some people have much more time scheduled in between the ceremony and reception allowing for more time on the party bus or limo and more time for romantic pictures. Keep that in mind when viewing these timelines as these are just a general guideline to how many of our weddings go. These are a good starting point when planning your day. Please don't hesitate to ask us if you have any questions or want to know if we will have time to schedule any other activities you desire for your day. Ultimately, this is YOUR day and we will adhere to any schedule you desire within the allotted timeframe. We will document your day however the day unfolds, but if we have adequate time for romantic photos scheduled, it will help ensure that we are able to capture beautiful more artistic photos for your wall and album.
