I wandered around some of the flooded water front today here in Sioux City. As a photographer, it gives me something interesting to take pictures of... Unfortunately, it's not at all what I would like to photograph. We have family and friends that are in the path of the flooding and can only pray that the damage is minimal. Please keep the families ofSioux City, South Sioux City, Dakota Dunes, Jackson NE, Dakota City and anyone else in the flood zone in your thoughts and prayers. Here is a final look at the Sioux Cityriver front before the flooding gets bad. As you can see, the water is already starting to get high. It won't be long before all of that grassy area is water.
