I just realized I haven't blogged on my website in nearly 5 months!!!!!  FAIL.  For anyone who is checking out my site for the first time, please feel free to check out my Facebook page as well at: www.facebook.com/shanemphotography .  I regularly post photos from recent weddings and engagement photo shoots on that page.  If you want to see the most current photos and even a lot of my past weddings and events, that is the best place to see our work.  

As you can imagine then, I'm WAY behind on blogging from weddings and engagements that have been shot in the last 6 months or so.  I've been experimenting with some new collage software to help me blog a little easier and share more photos from each wedding or event.  This is my first time posting with that software and although I'm out of order, I may try to get caught up with past weddings and post photos from those events as well in the coming days and weeks.  For now though, here are some photos from Chris and Alyssa's beautiful Sioux City, Iowa wedding.  They were married at Sunnybrook Church and had their reception at the Orpheum in downtown Sioux City.  It was our first time photographing at either of those locations and I loved shooting at both places!  Sunnybrook is awesome the way they backlight the couple on the stage.  It makes for some beautiful photos during the ceremony and then of course, the Orpheum is simply stunning to photograph.  The architecture in that place is probably second to none in Sioux City.  It's gorgeous!!!  I highly recommend having your reception or event at the Orpheum!  If you do, call me.  I LOVE shooting their!!  :)
