So, now that I've got a blog on my site, I want to share projects and things that I have done or will be doing.  I also hope to share some of my favorite eating establishments and any other local favorites I can tell you about! First things first though - I have liked this photo since they day I laid eyes on this scene and it was finally recognized for being special.  :)  I recently started attending the local camera club here in Sioux City.  Each month we have a photo contest which could have anywhere from 30-40 on up to 50-70 submissions or even more per month.  I'm not sure how many were submitted during the month of January.  I'd guess around 50-60 prints, but whatever the number, my Ireland shot came in 3rd out of some AMAZING photos!  I was flattered and honored that my picture would rate so high.  It was up against some great competition!!  I will be continuing to compete in these monthly contests as I see fit (and if I have prints that I think can win) and if I win again in the future, those photographs will also be displayed for all to see!  Thanks again for visiting my site!  I hope to do business with you soon.

Here's the 3rd place winner from January 2011
