Wedding Photos - Sioux City, Iowa

As I prepare to walk out the door to shoot another wedding today, I wanted to share some photos from Melissa and Craig's beautiful wedding from two weeks ago.  All of the weddings we get to be a part of are special, but this wedding had some unique moments that made it different from many of the weddings we shoot.  

Melissa's son Ethan took on many roles throughout the day and deserves a lot of credit for what he did.  Because he was the man in her life before Craig came along, Ethan was one of the first ones to see Melissa after she got into her dress, he was the ring bearer AND he walked her down the aisle!  Not bad for the young man!  He also was part of a really great toast at the reception and had a sweet solo dance with his Momma at the end of the night.  That's a full day for anybody, let alone a boy his age.  

There were SO many amazing people that contributed to making this wedding such a beautiful and memorable day.  Melissa's mom was so nice and was amazing with her part in the planning of the day.  Craig's parents were equally wonderful and it was neat seeing the love they all had for one another.  Melissa and Craig actually carried on a family tradition by having their wedding day on Craig's Mom's birthday!  The birthday song and speech given for her at the reception was beautiful and well deserved for a remarkable lady.  

All in all, it was a terrific wedding and we were so blessed to be a part of it!  Congratulations to Melissa, Craig and Ethan on your happy little family! We were so happy to be your photographers and we wish you many years of happiness!
