Now that Covid has become a part of our vocabulary, something else has also become more common as well.  Small, intimate weddings!  Yes, with more and more people social distancing or sticking to smaller crowds, we have noticed the weddings we have photographed have also been much smaller and more intimate as well.  If you happen to find yourself in this situation and are looking for a gorgeous venue that is large enough to fit the people you love most, but cozy enough to not feel like you're a speck on the wall, then I highly recommend you consider "The Chocolate Mansion" in Sioux City, Iowa for your venue.

My wife Becca and I recently had the privilege of staying here for her birthday and it was absolutely beautiful inside.  The entire mansion had been beautifully restored with lots of modern updates.  The rooms all had candy based themes, but weren't over the top Willy Wonka themed spaces.  They were all done in a very classy manner.  Since we stayed in January, we had the run of most of the place to ourselves which meant I was able to play and photograph most of the building as well.  Here are the photos I took during our stay at the Chocolate Mansion!  Also worth noting - there is a beautiful outdoor space with a pool and additional guest house that I didn't photograph since it was winter and I didn't have access to the guest house.  The place is phenomenal!  If you want to book a stay, visit their website at: https://www.chocolatemansionsiouxcity.com/
